I am a retired teacher with a 28 year career elementary education - most of it at the first-grade level in the South Eastern School District in Pennsylvania. I retired 3 years ago and since then have enjoyed a second semi-career as a reference substitute in the Harford County Public Library System.
My husband and I live in Delta, PA with our three grandcats. We will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary this August. We have two children. Our daughter Hydee and her husband Keith just built a lovely new home in Stewartstown, PA. They live with our two granddogs and two more grandcats. (Yes, the three cats living with us also originally belonged to Hydee!) Hydee is also employed by HCPL as an accountant in the Finance Department. Our son Mike and his wife Kristin live in Grand Island (near Buffalo), NY. They are parents of our sweet granddaughter, Caroline, who is one-year old. They are also building a new house in the Buffalo area.
I totally enjoy the freedom and flexibility of the retired life. My interests include reading, travel, playing piano and organ, and sewing.
